Purpose:
- Need to increase capacity for Marion County’s outpatient substance use treatment and
behavioral health services for uninsured, homeless and working poor - Community need to increase accessibility and capacity for:
a. Outreach & Navigation
b. Assessments
c. Counseling / Intensive Outpatient Therapy
d. Peer Support Activities, AA, NA, 12-Step
e. Medication Management & Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
f. Case Management
g. Medical, Dental and Vision
h. Life Stabilization & Self-Sufficiency Services
- Education, GED, Trade Skills
- Job Readiness and Employment
- Case Management for Occupational, Social, Educational, Emotional, Relationship and Essential Housing Stability
- Obtaining benefits for which the client is eligible (e.g., VA, Medicaid, Social Security, etc.)
Goals & Outcomes:
- Reach people in the early stages of addiction before OD – dental clinics, ER’s, referrals
- Reduce Arrests, ER visits, OD’s and impact on jail/court system relating to SUD/MH
- Stabilize & Reduction in Harm
- Reduce Frequency & Impact of Relapse
- Build a centralized continuum of care on one campus
- Create a Sense of Hope, Self-Esteem and Sense of Community
